Thrive scoops social value award for innovative partnership with Hertfordshire Mind Network
An innovative project which helps people with mental health problems into employment has scooped a national award for Hertfordshire-based housing association Thrive Homes and Hertfordshire Mind Network.
Thrive and Let’s Talk Grounds Maintenance won first place in the inaugural Social Value Awards, which was launched this year by Procurement for Housing.
It recognises Thrive’s community partnership and procurement teams working together to nominate a local charity as a sub-contractor within its new grounds maintenance contract.
The agreement means that, from next April, some of this work will be carried out by Let’s Talk Grounds Maintenance, a social enterprise run by mental health charity Hertfordshire Mind Network.
