Groups and Courses – Women

Many women feel more able to relax and share their concerns in a women only environment. Herts Mind Network recognises the need for gender sensitive services and offers the following services for this purpose:

Women’s’ Needlecraft

This group enables women to try tapestry, embroidery, needlepoint, quilting, lace making or sewing in a relaxed and informal environment. An experienced tutor guides participants through individual projects and techniques. The group runs from an Outreach Centre in Hemel Hempstead.

Women’s Coffee Morning

This is an informal group meeting at the Hemel Wellbeing Centre, providing a welcoming and open space to share concerns, experiences and a cup of tea or coffee!

Women’s Group

This is an informal group meeting in Borehamwood, providing a friendly environment in which to talk, share experiences and enjoy light refreshment!

Women’s Wellbeing Workshops

These groups are accessible from all 7 of Herts Mind Network’s Wellbeing Centres across Hertfordshire and offer a more structured approach for women’s personal development and positive life changes. Over five weeks participants explore women’s health and wellbeing in a small group guided by an experienced tutor. Topics include emotional wellbeing, physical wellness, nutrition, stress-busting techniques, confidence building, life-balance and relaxation.
