Herts Mind Network, in partnership with Turning Point Hertfordshire, has moved into its recently launched new Wellbeing Centre in Waltham Cross High Street to celebrate the New Year! The new Centre serves as a shop-front local community hub for members of the public wanting to access preventative services tailored to promote positive mental and emotional health. Based at 145a High Street, Waltham Cross, the team will support people with difficult life events, housing and vocational advice, support through crisis and with confidence building. The ‘PS…’ service runs from the Centre and provides a unique service where staff have overcome difficult mental and emotional health challenges or have been or are a carer for someone experincing mental ill health and are ideally placed to help others to find coping strategies.

It is not necessary to have a diagnosis of ill health to access the services; they are open to everyone, free at the point of contact, with some services offered at no charge for an extended length of sessions. Support services are also offered on an outreach basis in surrounding areas to Waltham Cross and talking therapies are bookable in advance at the shop to help members of the community through difficult times.

To contact the Centre, please call 08444 77 22 12, option 5.
