Herts Mind Network has recently launched its new grounds maintenance service: Let’s Talk Grounds Maintenance. Operating as a social enterprise, the service delivers high quality grounds maintenance services to public, private and community sector organisations, whilst providing paid employment for individuals who have faced barriers to work through experience of mental and/or emotional distress.
Overseen by a Supervisor, the service currently employs 9 Grounds Maintenance Operatives, who undergo a thorough training programme and participate in regular supervision. Initial feed-back from contracting organisations; Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) and Turning Point has been very encouraging and the service plans to expand from its current base in Watford, South East Hertfordshire, to deliver services across the county.
If you are interested in finding out more general information, or would like a competitive no obligation quote for grounds maintenance services, please contact Joanne.Burnham@hertsmindnetwork.org or call 01920 486748.
If you are interested in training to become a Grounds Maintenance Operative please contact Mark.firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01923 805741.
